A great opportunity for funding is available for community organisations in the Robinvale region.
To celebrate the development of the new solar park in Bannerton, the Bannerton Solar Farm developers are committed to provide grants of up to $5,000 with a total pool of $20,000 to suitably qualified local community groups and organisations. Through this contribution, they strive to enhance quality of life and promote well-being as well as foster a vibrant, multicultural and sustainable community.
Project developer, Phil Galloway says "This grant is an opportunity for us to mark the beginning of the construction of the solar farm, one of the largest in Victoria, and most importantly to thank the Robinvale community for their warm welcome and assistance".
Mr Galloway added: "We encourage all suitable organisations to apply, even if their idea seems a bit far-fetched, as solar farms developers, we encourage big dreams and innovative ideas".
This program is financed by the Foresight Group and has been made possible by the cooperation between the Bannerton Developers, Swan Hill Rural City Council and the Office of the Skills Commissioner.
