Procurement Australia on behalf of Byron Shire Council and the Lismore City Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from a licensed Electricity Retailer in the state of New South Wales that can accommodate some of their broader objectives around sustainability and flexible procurement options.
Following this Expression of Interest, a short-list of candidates will be selected and take through to a Tender by Invitation (Closed Tender Event) with the intention of awarding the tender to a retailer with energy delivery from 1 January 2019 in the case of Byron Shire and from 1 January 2020 for the Lismore City Council.
However, there is no obligation from this Expression of Interest to select any retailer for the short-list, and there is no obligation to appoint any retailer from any subsequent tender by Invitation.
