The Digital Transformation Agency is seeking quotes from the Digital Services Panel for a contractor to support data.gov.au during business hours. Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will be required to triage, resolve and respond to support issues. Ability to assist with development and architecture will be an advantage.
You will report directly to the DTA’s tech lead for data.gov.au.
You will be working with a new team comprised of a product manager, delivery manager, user researcher, developer/s and service designer.
The support officer will work in a multidisciplinary team to support data.gov.au. This involves responding to email and phone requests from clients in the APS and public. You will be required to communicate problems and solutions via our service providers.
Working closely with data.gov.au tech lead, you will be responsible for developing an understanding of data.gov.au in order to more efficiently provide support.
You will also possess the ability to assist in the development and bug-fixing of CKAN and Geoserver, knowledge of the GIS ecosystem, as well as experience working with Agile methodologies and with the Commonwealth Digital Service Standard.
