Tender Description
TransGrid is seeking offers to provide temporary backup generation in the area surrounding Orange, NSW, to improve reliability of the network.
Two separate options are available to meet TransGrid's requirements:
1. 3 MW temporary backup generation at Molong 132/66/11 kV substation, connecting at 66 kV to the outdoor aerial rigid bus,
2. 2 MW temporary backup generation at Molong 132/66/11 kV substation (connecting at 11 kV), and 1 MW temporary backup generation at Cumnock 66/11 kV substation (connecting at 11 kV).
Supply restoration is required in 30 minutes following an unforeseen outage on the network.
TransGrid is seeking offers to supply, install, and maintain equipment for the hire period, as well as demobilisation and decommissioning of all equipment. All required maintenance is to be the supplier's responsibility for the duration of the hire period.
