Tender Description
The work to be performed under this contract is the provision of unplanned and planned electrical, building and plumbing installation, maintenance and repairs in Council Facilities and Open Space within the boundaries of the City of Moonee Valley. The works may also include minor building refurbishment and renewal projects, however these works will be completed on a fixed price basis. A description of the works to be provided is detailed below
Electrical – Installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical systems and components including but not limited to switchboards, emergency and exit light, general power and lighting, solar power, emergency power, open space ornamental light systems, sports field lighting, security light systems etc.
Plumbing – Installation, repairs and maintenance of plumbing systems and components including but not limited to water supply, sanitary/sewer, gas, storm water drainage, roof drainage, back flow prevention devices, thermo mixing valves, irrigation systems etc.
Building/Carpentry – Construction, repairs and maintenance to various building components including but not limited to doors, walls, window frames, cupboards, plastering etc.
A more detailed brief of the extent of services required by Council is set out in the Specification of this Tender document.
The Panel Contractors will be engaged by the Council’s Facility Management and Maintenance Department, however the successful contractors may also be engaged by other Council departments from time to time.
Works will be performed under a schedule of rates or fixed price quotation depending on the urgency, estimated cost and complexity of the works.
