Campaspe Shire Council in conjunction with Murray River Council requires the services a qualified consultant to undertake a flood study of the Murray River between Barmah and the Torrumbarry area including the townships of Echuca and Moama and associated development areas and assessment of the performance of the Torrumbarry rural and Guttram-Benwell Forest environmental levees.
The study will also consider flooding from the Campaspe and Goulburn Rivers and other identified tributaries as they interact with the Murray River and impact the townships. It will include review of flood warning and response plans and preparation of a floodplain risk management study and plan for each side of the Murray River.
