18025 - Maranoa Regional Council will be undertaking the upgrade of the Injune Taroom Road & Bonnydoon Road to meet predicted traffic demands, with works commencing in February 2018. The construction phase is projected to last for ten (10) months and will bring both Council employees and contractors to the region.

This tender invites businesses to submit an offer to provide accommodation and catering for Council’s project workforce (within the Injune region) for the duration of the projects’ construction phase. Tenderers are advised that there is a possibility that the project funding party may direct that the workforce will be accommodated at a workers’ camp located in the vicinity of the projects. Council may elect to decline any or all Tenders obtained.

It is envisaged that the projects will require accommodation and catering for an estimated 40 - 60 permanent workers, for the duration of the projects. The room demand may vary fortnightly depending on the project requirements and unforeseen circumstances, e.g. inclement weather. Council intends to work an 11 day fortnight, therefore requiring 10 consecutive nights’ accommodation per cycle (Monday night week 1 through to and including Wednesday night week 2).
