Tender Description
The Great Ocean Road Coast Committee is a not-for-profit incorporated organisation managing 37km of Coastal Crown land Reserves between Torquay and Lorne.
The tender is for the design of the Point Grey precinct, Lorne, Victoria. The proposed design will need to incorporate commercial and community use buildings and open space public areas.
Whilst Point Grey is already in the top 5 sites on the Great Ocean Road for visitation, neither its current design, experiences, nor activities, make it a 'must stop' destination. Therefore our vision is for: "a creative design, encouraging vibrant activity within an exciting public realm which will entice visitors to stop, spend and stay."
Stage One: Expression of Interest:
Competitors must submit details of relevant qualifications, background and experience, along with a task appreciation and methodology statement, evaluation of which will determine the list of Competitors invited to participate in Stage Two.
Stage Two: Design Competition:
A single stage paid design competition limited to no more than four Competitors, who will be required to prepare a fully developed concept design, for evaluation by the Jury, which will determine the Winner.
