Central Geelong Park & Ride Bus Service

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Geelong provides the Central Geelong Park and Ride, a key service to assist the movement of people around Central Geelong and the Waterfront and to complement existing transport services available across the municipality.

The City of Greater Geelong is seeking tenders from experienced transport contractors to provide buses and drivers for the provision of the Central Geelong Park and Ride Service. In addition, Council may require the services of buses and drivers to support a range of City of Greater Geelong initiatives along with an alternate service to support other activities.

Mandatory Criteria:
* Tenderers to satisfy and meet the requirements for the Bus Services Act 2009 (VIC) Transport Safety Victoria
* Significant past experience in the delivery of bus services over the last 3 years

The term of the Contract for the provision of this service shall be for a period of three (3) years with a further three, one (1) year options available at the discretion of Council.

Contractors are requested to tender for all items in T1770841 Pricing Schedule. The service shall commence on a date to be confirmed. The Contract shall operate on a fixed annual lump sum amount and scheduled rates basis.

The Contractor shall be responsible for all associated costs in relation to supply, delivery and coordination of the provision of the Central Geelong Bus Shuttle Services. Please refer to the Specification T1770841 document for full details regarding requirements.
