Project Managers (Multiple Positions) from 27 November 2017 to 30 June 2018

⁠⁠⁠Department of Human Services is seeking a number of experienced Project Managers for the Welfare Payments Infrastructure Transformation (WPIT) Programme’s Integrated Programme Office (IPO) to support the management and successful delivery of a range of transformation projects.

The Project Managers will be part of a multi-disciplinary team within the Integrated Programme Office (IPO) who will be working with all teams associated with the WPIT Programme, key stakeholders across ICT and Business areas.

PLEASE NOTE: Project Manager roles will be based in Canberra or Melbourne

1) Be responsible for managing the project team and key stakeholders, inputs across multiple parties to drive the successful delivery of the project.

2) Plan project phases, monitor the project progress, handle change requests and lead communication required.

3) Undertake Stakeholder engagement and be the first contact point for all project-related enquiries.

4) Additional tasks and deliverables (as required) through the duration of the engagement.

5) Will need to have proven and current experience in ICT project management to provide large and complex project management services as required and is accredited against industry standards.

6) Will work under the broad direction of senior staff, and will be responsible for overseeing the management of the design, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of project outputs. They will play a key role in managing key strategic stakeholders across all tiers of government to drive the implementation and integration of projects at the operational level.

7) Will need to have a successful track record in managing medium complexity projects and/or part of a large and complex project.
