Tender Description
The provision of a quality assured contract for the Construction of Footpath, Mountain Highway, The Basin, between The Basin Shops and Wicks Road, involving the following quantities: earthworks - cut (131cum), earthworks fill (135cum), concrete paving 100mm thick (590sqm), reinforced concrete paving 125mm thick (115sqm), asphalt 50mm thick (100sqm), crushed rock 150mm thick (100sqm), crushed rock 100mm thick (52sqm), crushed rock 400mm thick (60sqm), weldmesh fence (249m), retaining wall (225m), boardwalk (1 item) and associated landscaping and pit modifications.
Tenderers for this project are to be prequalified with the Civil Contractors Federation or Council approved equivalent.
Tenderers should note this contract will be for a period of twelve (12) weeks.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting will be held at the Knox City Council Civic Centre, 511 Burwood Highway, Wantirna South, Eastgate South Conference Room at 4.00pm, Thursday 9 November 2017. Tender schedules will be made available in word format following the pre-tender meeting along with the pre-tender meeting minutes as an addendum.
