Sweeney Reserve is located on to the south side of the Princes Freeway at Narre Warren (Melways 110 J9). The reserve comprises of three football ovals, each with a centre cricket pitch, three soccer pitches, eight softball pitches and two netball courts.
Casey City Council (Council) is keen to extend its support for investing in football facilities for the community to play sport and specifically for the growing demand of football (Soccer) for the City. As such Council is proposing to upgrade the current turf field No #3 (East Field) at Sweeney Reserve to include a new synthetic surface. The proposed works includes new paths, fences, coaches boxes and floodlighting to achieve the required standard.
