Hume City Council invites tenders for the construction of flat top road humps in Craigieburn.

This contract may be awarded to one single contractor or apportioned to multiple contractors.

The project is made up of 7 separate locations (all within Craigieburn) where the installation of flat top road humps is required as listed in the below table:

The road hump construction generally consists of interlocking brick pavers laid in a herringbone pattern with 1.5-2.0m long asphalt ramps and all associated line marking and signage. The exception is job no.1 at Highgate Recreational Reserve where 3 no. flat top humps are to be constructed with 40MPa concrete.

Drainage and footpath works are also required to be undertaken at some locations as specified on construction plans.

The construction of road humps is to be undertaken by the successful contractor/s under traffic management conditions with no full road closures. Road closures will only be accepted for location G at Highgate Recreational Reserve.
