Tender Description
Byron Shire Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced parties to provide the following trade services:
* Electrical services
* Plumbing services
* Graffiti removal
* Glazing
* General building maintenance/handyman
* Minor building works under $150,000 (licensed builders)
* Painting
* Roof repairs
* Welding and metal fabrication services
Services will be undertaken at Council-owned buildings, public amenities, and swimming pools.
Council’s objectives of the contract are:
* To obtain a responsive and efficient service from trades contractors;
* To ensure that Council’s facilities are maintained in good working order;
* To have access to a range of trades contractors who provide value for money;
* To ensure all work is undertake to a professional standard at all times, in accordance with relevant Australian or International Standards;
* To have access to a reliable emergency service when required.
The Contractor is required to provide the following deliverables:
* Respond to service calls within the agreed timeframe;
* Complete work within the agreed timeframe;
* Work completed to the agreed standard;
* Emergency and out-of-hour response times adhered to.
