Tender Description
Invitation To Tender (ITT) No. 12/2017, Church Street, Parramatta at Parkes Street and Great Western Highway Intersection, Traffic Control Signal Upgrade & Associated Civil Works.
The City of Parramatta Council proposes to upgrade the Traffic Control Signals at the intersection of Church Street, Parkes Street and Great Western Highway, Parramatta. The works include the following:
* Relocation of traffic signal posts and associated traffic signal configuration changes;
* Reconstruct eight kerb ramps at the intersection as specified;
* Upgraded footpath pavement at the intersection as specified;
* Install directional and warning tactile indicators (TGSI) as specified;
* Resheet the road pavement and install detection loops as specified;
* Install pavement markings as specified;
* Obtain 'Practical Completion Certificate' for TCS from RMS.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender 12/2017 in late November 2017, with works anticipated to commence in January 2018.
No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work', and if questions arise submit these via the Tenderlink forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au.
