Tender Description
The North East Waste and Resource Recovery Group (North East WRRG) is coordinating a tender process for the Provision of Collection, Transport and Processing of End of Life Tyres Services.
Tender Number: C1718/01
This will enable the removal of end-of-life tyres from Council owned facilities across North East Victoria and Albury (Southern NSW). This request for tender, which covers a three year period, applies to the collection, transport, processing and reporting of end-of-life tyres to be removed from facilities nominated by those Councils.
Participating Councils include:
* Alpine Shire
* Benalla Rural City
* Indigo Shire
* Towong Shire
* Rural City of Wangaratta
* City of Wodonga, And the;
* City of Albury (NSW and a non-member participant)
A separate contract will be established with each Council, with the preferred contractor, in accordance with the specifications provided with this Tender. This contract will apply to the;
(i) collection;
(ii) transport;
(iii) processing; and,
(iv) reporting on the quantities and fate of products received from facilities nominated by Councils within and adjacent to the North East Victorian Waste and Resource Recovery Region.
Submissions are required to complete pricing for the following: Collection, transport and processing of end-of-life tyres from all Waste Transfer Stations/Resource Recovery centres referenced in ATTACHMENT B (within Tender documents) at the frequencies identified. Reporting on quantities collected per collection point and quantities processed.
