Tender Description
YASC 2017-05 - Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council requests submissions from suitably qualified tradespeople and suppliers to supply and quality services and other resources (as nominated by Council).
This pre-qualification process is seeking contractors to supplement Council’s own resources. Works may be across all facets of Council’s building operations including but not limited to:
* Housing: Repairs and Maintenance
* Housing: Major Upgrades
* Houisng: New Construction
* Council Facilities: General Construction
Tenders are invited for plant of the following types:
1. Air-Conditioning - Repairs, maintenance and installation, of e.g. Room Air Conditioners (RAC’s), Split’s, Packages, Air Handling Units (AHU’s), Exhaust and Ventilation Systems
2. Asbestos Removal - Licensed and safe removal and disposal of asbestos
3. Building General - General building works
4. Brick/Block Layers – General
5. Cabinet Makers - Modifying and building furniture
6. Cleaning External/Internal - Building, graffiti removal, gutter cleaning; pressure cleaning, window cleaning, blind cleaning, walls/ceilings
7. Concreting – General
8. Data/Telecommunications - Repairs, maintenance, upgrade, new works
9. Electrical General - Repairs, maintenance, upgrade, new works
10. Fencing – Metal and timber construction, repairs and maintenance, temporary
11. Flooring – lay/repair/alterations of vinyl, wooden floor, carpet, laminate, cork, polishing of floors
12. Glazing / Security Screens – Supply and installation, repairs, replace, tinting and maintenance
13. Locksmiths – Service of Principal’s master system, new installations, re-keying, electronic management system
14. Metal Fabrication and Welding - general requirements, metal pre-finishing, metal coating, structural steel, light steel framing, roofing, cladding, doors and hatches, partitions
15. Painting – General
16. Pest Control
17. Plasterers – repairs, maintenance
18. Plumbing / Gas Fitting – Repairs, maintenance and installation, drainage, irrigation, hot water systems
19. Roofing and Guttering – Installation, repairs and maintenance, upgrade
20. Rollers Doors – Installation, repairs and maintenance
21. Swimming Pool – repairs, maintenance, supplies, equipment
22. Tiling, Paving and Waterproofing – Lay, repairs and maintenance of tiles and paving; waterproofing/sealing
23. Tree Loppers –trimming, tree removal, stump removal
24. Waste Removal – Septic tanks, grease traps
25. Janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies
26. Hardware (Tools, Materials and equipment)
27. Plumbing Supplies
28. Pumps (Supply, installation and maintenance)
