Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) prequalified contractors, consultants for engineering projects and contract administrators are invited to attend a Private Industry Briefing for the upcoming Cairns Significant Projects.
The Cairns Significant Projects Industry Briefing will provide information on the following projects:
* Smithfield Bypass
* Bruce Highway - Cairns Southern Access Corridor - Stage 3 - Edmonton to Gordonvale; and
* Bruce Highway - Cairns Southern Access Corridor - Stage 4 - Kate to Aumuller.
The briefing will provide industry stakeholders with a broad understanding of the scope for the projects, the type of skills required, the method of procurement, the likely budgets available and the timing of the work entering the market of interest to both contractors and consultants.
The Cairns Significant Projects Industry Briefing is being held in Cairns on Thursday, 24 August 2017 between 10:00am and 12:00pm at Boland Room 6, Boland Centre, 14 Spence Street, Cairns.
The invitation to the event has been posted on the Eventbrite site at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/north-queensland-region-far-north-district-cairns-significant-projects-industry-briefing-tickets-36705040765?aff=es2 and interested parties can register to attend.
A limit of two people per company may attend the event. Registrations for this event close on Wednesday, 23 August 2017 at 12:00pm.
