Tender Description
Mount Barker District Council (“the Council”) runs a manhole refurbishment program to repair & treat manholes prior to failure. Each year 10 – 15 manholes are targeted based on their condition rating.
Refurbishing involves the thorough cleaning to remove corroded concrete, reinstatement of concrete prior to applying a protective layer to prevent corrosive gasses from attacking the repaired surface. It is expected that the refurbishment will extend the life of a manhole by a minimum of 20 years.
We invite Tenders from suitably qualified Contractors to undertake Council’s manhole refurbishment program for a term of three (3) years commencing in 2017 (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.
