Tender Description
Council is seeking to provide an adequate maintenance service for concrete footpath pavements to ensure that the assets are maintained appropriately and that danger to pedestrians and other road users is minimised. It also wants to improve on its knowledge of the current footpath network and the service provided to its customers through good reporting systems.
The extent of work under the Contract involves undertaking day-to-day concrete maintenance throughout the municipality. The schedule of rates contract is for a three year period commencing on the 01 January 2018. There will be an option of 1 + 1 year extensions of the contract at Council’s sole discretion.
Council is seeking tenders from suitable qualified contractors to:
* To provide maintenance service for the concrete footpath network that preserves Council’s assets and provides a safe environment for the users of Council concrete footpaths.
* At all times to provide a timely service to deal with faults in the concrete footpath network.
* To keep and provide to the Council records of maintenance activities undertaken for the upgrade of the Council’s records regarding its concrete footpath network.
