Destination NSW seeks the services of a Contractor to perform the role of Project Director of Vivid Sydney 2018 and 2019.
This includes:
Working with Destination NSW to effectively plan, organise, and manage all third party contractors, suppliers and Event content presenters to ensure they deliver a seamless Event which meets Destination NSW’s key strategic objectives and outcomes. This includes other Sydney suburbs/precincts.
The major responsibilities of the Vivid Sydney Project Director 2018 and 2019 are:
* Oversee the Expressions of Interest and Selection Process for the Vivid Light, Vivid Ideas and Vivid Music components of the Event
* Management and execution of the Event program across the light, music and ideas event pillars
* To provide insight and advice on the latest creative industry trends for the purpose of product inclusion (i.e. consumer facing, business to consumer facing and business to business facing)
* To act as the Event’s spokesperson (as required) for the purpose of delivering Destination NSW/ Vivid Sydney key messages to sponsors and stakeholders (including but not limited to sponsor and stakeholder presentations)
* Work with the Creative Director, Vivid Sydney and Destination NSW CEO on assessment of Vivid Sydney Event concepts
* To provide recommendations on all Event operations
* To develop and oversee Vivid Sydney operations for the purpose of achieving a seamless and integrated entertainment proposition throughout the event footprint
* To develop relationships within the Creative Industries
* To participate as an industry leader on Vivid Sydney panels (e.g. Vivid Light selection panel)
* To engage with Event Presenters on AV/Travel and other requirements
* To oversee the management and implementation of office based systems, tools and appropriate materials for the purpose of overseeing the Event
* Prepare and oversee Event budgets.
