EOI Mount Druitt Police Station New Build

⁠⁠⁠BGIS, Project Manager to the NSW Police Force, is inviting suitably qualified Head Contractors to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for participation in the tender for the construction of a new Local Area Command (LAC) Police Station in Mount Druitt.

The project involves:
* Construction of new Police Station including temporary accommodation and demolition of existing structures
* Demolition of the existing police station building
* Establishment of temporary station facilities
* Construction of a new two-storey police station building
* On-site parking for up to 35 operational vehicles
* Anticipated commencement November 2017, with 17 month construction period
* Gross floor area of 3,800m2 over two levels
* 1,500m2 of secure vehicle parking on ground level and external holding bays and storage
* External works, utilities connections (including new substation), accesses, local roadway alterations, related upgrades and landscape works
* Staging of works to allow for continued operations of Police Station onsite in temporary facilities
* Liaison and coordination with the NSW Police Force and BGIS in the delivery of the works, relocation and handover phases

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Code) and the NSW Government’s Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW.

Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (EOI or tender response) and to any successful applications being awarded.
