Tender Description
913 - DEWNR facilitated a broad community engagement and co-design process in 2015 as instructed by the Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation (MSEC) to determine what facilities the community wanted in a range of Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges (AMLR) parks.
Para Wirra Conservation Park is one of eight AMLR parks approved for visitor facility development as part of the AMLR Connecting Residents with Nature Project, a commitment made by the Government of South Australia as part of the 2014 election.
Para Wirra Conservation Park is scheduled to receive new car parking facilities, access roads, picnic sites, barbecues, toilets, campgrounds, a nature play space, sign upgrades and trails.
DPTI has approved self-management of all works.
