Bayside City Council is proposing to separate the current shared footway from Bay Street to Sandown Street, Brighton. Stage One of these works has previously been tendered (CON/17/16) separately and consisted of the construction of the new path from CH90 to CH470 plus the granitic sand separator strip.
This tender is for Stage Two works which will involve the construction of a new 2.5m coloured concrete path, adjacent to the existing path, along with a granitic sand and permeable paving separation strip, plus intersection modification works at Bay Street and Sandown Street. This will include bollards, fencing and new bluestone paving.
Note: Garden beds and planting are not part of this package of works.
