Tender Description
Roads and Maritime Services is a delivery agency within the NSW Transport cluster that enables safe and efficient journeys throughout NSW.
The Cahill Expressway and the Sydney Harbour Bridge are key assets of the agency, which are both centre stage for the City of Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks celebrations that are watched and enjoyed by millions across Australia and the world.
For more than a decade, Roads and Maritime Services has closed the Cahill Expressway and hosted the cost-free, family-friendly event on the Cahill Expressway (with no alcohol permitted). More than 6,000 guests, volunteers and staf attend this event across two sessions (9pm and midnight).
The tender is for a three-year contract with an option to extend for an initial 12 month period followed by a second 12 month period (five years in total).
