Tender Description
The Principal requires the services of a suitably qualified, registered and experienced Commercial/Industrial Building Construction Contractor to undertake the development and construction of the Cockburn Community Men's Shed, Lot 73 Buckley Street (Corner of Sullivan Street), Cockburn Central, Western Australia.
The building has an estimated 1,102 m2 of office and vehicle parking space and the total site construction area is approximately 2,130 m2. The site is to have a one way traffic flow. Entry is to be off Sullivan Street and Exit is to Buckley Street.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the delivery of the site, supervision and all aspects and parts of the project.
The scope of works/services includes, but is not limited to:
(a) Provision and development of documentation;
(b) Obtaining approvals from all authorities and service providers;
(c) Site Survey
(d) Building construction, installation, plumbing, electrical and other associated works; and
(e) 'As Constructed' Drawings.
The Principal has undertaken the initial site works, site clearing and earthworks.
It is the Principal's expectation that the Contract shall be awarded in July 2017 and development work shall commence immediately upon appointment; with an estimated total development and building construction period of three (3) months.
The Contractor will be required to provide all labour, plant, tools and equipment, materials, fees and charges, chemicals, transport/cartage etc. and anything else necessary for the completion of the proposed Contract.
Design drawings have been prepared and a full statement of the development services and construction works required under the proposed Contract appears in the Specification - Part 2 and Special Conditions of Contract-Part 6.
