Tender Description
The purpose of this procurement is to increase the capacity of Secondary Schools in the Torres Straits and Cape York to support students who are experiencing mental health and/or social and emotional wellbeing issues.
This contract is proposed for the 2017/18 Financial Year and relates to Secondary Schools in the Torres Straits and Cape York Peninsula only.
The procurement requires effective engagement with Secondary School staff, primary mental health providers and other relevant services in the schools catchment area.
It is envisaged that the service will support the development of trauma informed and education environment specific responses to student mental health issues through activities such as consultation to prioritise strategies, professional advice, facilitation of professional development, collaboration with primary mental health care and relevant community services.
