The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) is the government agency responsible for the Coroners Court of Queensland (CCoQ). DJAG, on behalf of CCoQ, is seeking Offers in response to this Expressions of Interest (EOI) for:
A. The conveyance of deceased persons under the Coroners Act 2003 (Qld);
B. The burial and/or cremation of deceased persons under the Burials Assistance Act 1965 (Qld) and/or;
C. Long haul conveyance/transfer of deceased persons

It is DJAG’s preference to appoint a single Supplier for a Queensland Boundary for both Services A and B above. However, a range of solutions may be available and accordingly DJAG reserves the right to award Standing Offer Arrangements (SOA) to one or more Suppliers for one or more Services for each Boundary.

Suppliers are not obliged to submit an Offer for all three Services. Suppliers may choose which of the Services they wish to provide e.g. only A, or A and C, or A and B etc. Suppliers will not be disadvantaged if they do not submit an Offer for all Services within a Boundary.

The conditions under which alternative or part Offers may be submitted is detailed at Item 6 of the EOI Conditions, in this document.

This EOI is the first stage of a two-staged Procurement Process. The EOI is intended to identify and qualify Suppliers who are interested in the listed Boundaries. This EOI Process is open to all Suppliers. Suppliers may participate in the EOI Process by completing and submitting the Pack B - Response Forms.

For the avoidance of doubt, a failure to submit an Offer in this EOI Process will result in exclusion from any subsequent stage in this Procurement Process.
