Tender Description

The Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH) seeks to engage a contractor to undertake a review of the species allocated to the Saving our Species (SoS) keep watch management stream.

The SoS program assigns threatened species to different management streams so the individual requirements of each species are clearly understood. Threatened species are managed in different ways under each management stream to take into account our knowledge of their ecology, distribution and threats to their survival.

A review is required to ensure that species are appropriately allocated to the keep watch management stream and that each species project in the stream includes guidance on what is required to keep watch on the species. This Request for Quote seeks the provision of a report detailing a review of the species currently allocated to the SoS keep watch management stream (as listed in Attachment A) and recommendations for their appropriateness to remain in the keep watch management stream or for allocation to another SoS management stream.
