Coolangatta & Tweed Heads Golf Club Ltd ABN 56 001 052 973 (the club) owns and operates two 18 hole championship golf courses, and associated clubhouse and other recreational facilities, which are situated on the Tweed River at Tweed Heads on the border of New South Wales and Queensland.
The Club is considering undertaking an extensive redevelopment of its existing clubhouse facilities, including the construction of new clubhouse (Redevelopment).
The club believes that, in undertaking the Redevelopment, there may be a commercial opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and resourced organisation to undertake, jointly with the club, the development of facilities such as:
* Residential accommodation
* Aged care facilities
* Retirement village
* Retail & commercial facility
Any development undertaken will be subject to obtaining all necessary local and state authority approvals, and be subject to satisfying relevant provisions of the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW).
