Gocup Road

⁠⁠⁠This is a Quality Assurance contract.

This project is funded by the State Government.

Tenders are invited from contractors pre-qualified under the National Prequalification System for Civil Construction Contracts at Roadworks Category R4, Asphalt Paving component A2 and Financial Level F25, or higher, for realignment of Halfway Hill and Doctors Hill sections on the Gocup Road 16.2 to 22.1 kilometres north of Tumut and a partial section (Cookoomooroo) on the Gocup Road 26.320 kilometres to 26.730 kilometres North of Tumut.

The earthworks and drainage components of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with Roads and Maritime Services in Class E and D respectively or prequalified for Roadworks.

The Traffic Control component of the work must be carried out by contractors registered with the Roads and Maritime Services at Class G.

The Primary Testing of the work (including sampling) must be carried out by contractors registered with Roads and Maritime Services in Class L2.

The Stabilisation component of the work must be carried out by companies registered with the Roads and Maritime Services in Categories Z1 and Z2 or by companies with demonstrated experience to carry out stabilisation work.

The Erosion and Sedimentation Services component of the work must be carried out by companies registered with the Roads and Maritime Services in Category S.

The Fabrication of Minor Steel Items component of the work must be carried out by companies registered with Roads and Maritime Services in Category SM.

A pre-tender meeting, including a site inspection, will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday 10 May 2017 at the Gundagai District Services Club, 254 Sheridan Street, Gundagai NSW 2722. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming tender.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government’s Code of Practice for Procurement.

The NSW Government’s Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Code) and the NSW Government's Implementation Guidelines to the NSW Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines) apply to this project. Compliance with the NSW Code and NSW Guidelines is a pre-requisite to submitting any response to a procurement process (expression of interest or tender response) and to any successful applications being awarded.
