The City of Albany is inviting tenders from suitably qualified Contractors, for the Design and Construction of Refurbishment Works for the Emu Point Boat Pens, located at Emu Point in Albany. The scope of works includes:
* Development of detailed designs for all works in accordance with the design requirements;
* Demolition of the City of Albany Jetty B including boat pens, services and timber mooring piles;
* Replacement of timber mooring piles with steel mooring piles for approximately 39 boat pens on City of Albany Jetty A and Jetty C;
* Refurbishment of steel jetty piles and adjacent pile caps, headstocks and connection brackets for Jetty A and Jetty C; and
* Refurbishment of a small number of timber piles at the access to Jetty A.
The City will undertake the required maintenance works on the timber decking, jetty abutment and miscellaneous fixtures for the boat pens, independently of these works.
