The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Commercial Cleaning Contractor for the cleaning of the Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (Cockburn ARC), 31 Veterans Parade, Cockburn Central WA. This facility is bound by Beeliar Drive, Midgegooroo Avenue, Poletti Road and North Lake Road, Cockburn Central West, Western Australia Regular cleaning services in accordance with daily and weekly schedules, as well as monthly, quarterly, post function and ad hoc cleaning services are required.

Cockburn ARC is the Principals new state of art multi-functional health, fitness, and aquatic complex that includes significant aquatic, stadium, health club, fitness and common areas.

The facilities includes a 50m outdoor pool, 3 world class water slides, Learn to swim and leisure pools, Toddler's pool and Children's water play area, Spa and Warm Water Pool, Steam room and sauna, Large pool concourse (wet, dry, disabled and schools) change areas and seating, Large fully equipped gymnasium, Creche and indoor play centre, Large reception and cafe eating areas.

It is the Principal's expectation that the successful Tenderer (s) will have demonstrated experience in providing similar services for a large sport and recreational facility and will be capable of providing environmentally managed cleaning services, that is cleaning services that encompass recycled, recyclable material and products, environmentally friendly chemicals, low energy and water consumption, waste minimisation, compliance with all relevant environmental and employment regulations etc, so as to comply with the Principal's Sustainability and Procurement policies.

The proposed Contract is for a period of three (3) years from the date of commencement for the provision of the cleaning services under the proposed Contract, with Principal instigated options to extend for a further one (1) year period, and then for up to twelve (12) months after that to a maximum of period of five (5) years.
