Tender Description
PTV is seeking a suitable supplier to provide a ferry service between Stony Point, Tankerton (French Island) and Cowes (Phillip Island).
It is an essential transport link for the residents of French Island to mainland Victoria and Phillip Island, who do not have any other means to get on and off the island. It also serves as a link for tourists to access French Island.
The provision of services will provide a 365 days a year service which runs from Stony Point to Cowes via Tankerton and return. The service must provide a return journey several times a day. Details are specified in A.2.5 Timetable (which includes the number of minimum journeys per day).
The successful Invitee will be awarded with the service contract for a period of five years with one option to extend the term for a further five years at the discretion of PTV.
