Tender Description
The Central Desert Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to design, develop and deliver a workshop to upskill frontline workers in managing community safety and wellbeing. Specifically, the workshop will be focussed on first responses to child abuse and neglect, family and domestic violence and elder abuse.
The aim of the workshop is to increase the understanding and capability of Council’s frontline staff living and working in remote communities in the Central Desert region to recognise and respond appropriately to issues of child abuse and neglect, family and domestic violence and elder abuse. The project will also establish a sustainable process for ongoing staff induction and training through the development of Wellbeing Champions.
Due Date: Written Expressions of Interest are due by 4.00pm on Friday 10 March 2017. Submissions should be marked Confidential and addressed to John Gaynor, Director of Community Services and sent to john.gaynor@centraldesert.nt.gov.au.
