Quotation for the Supply and Install of Solar Infrastructure

⁠⁠⁠The Surf Coast Shire Council (Council) invites quotations from suitably qualified contractors for the design, supply and installation of solar infrastructure at 5 Council buildings in the municipality.

The 5 building sites are:
1. Civic Centre, Torquay
2. Surf Coast Library, Torquay
3. Lorne Visitor Information Centre
4. Eastern Reserve Community Centre, Winchelsea
5. Jan Juc Pre School, Bob Pettitt Reserve

Tenderers are invited to submit the completed Quotation Form (Appendix C), design and install proposal, and technical details/specifications for the solar infrastructure. Tenderers are invited to provide a lump sum price for all 5 sites, and also price(s) for each building for Council to consider the option of awarding contracts to multiple Contractors, depending on the tender assessment results and project budget.

The works will include design, supply and installation requirements, permits/applications, structural roof assessments, connections and any upgrade required for the systems of the buildings. The scope of works is detailed further in the Specification (Appendix A). Tenderers should review the Specification and aerial plans in detail.

Council requires the works to be completed by no later than 31 May 2017.

The submission of the quotation must be completely uploaded into the electronic tender box of Tenderlink by the Closing time. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

Submission that does not comply with the requirements, for example tender submitted by facsimile or email, will not be accepted. It is the tenderers' responsibility to ensure that correct lodgement occurs. Submissions not conforming to these conditions may not be accepted, in the absolute discretion of Council.

Tenders are to be lodged no later than 3.00 PM Tuesday 14 March 2017. Late or incorrectly lodged tenders may not be considered.
