Gas Pipeline Rehabilitation - Bowral & Mt Druitt (Stages 3A & 4A)

⁠⁠⁠Jemena is seeking submissions from capable and experienced contractors to rehabilitate existing Gas Pipe Lines in two areas (1) Bowral, NSW and (2) Mt Druitt, NSW.

Work involves Civil & Mechanical disciplines as detailed in the Scope of Works documentation referenced in this tender.

Project Details
Project 1 - Bowral
The 210kPa areas to be rehabilitated ,the total length of mains that is proposed to be inserted/laid is 5km, with the replacement/isolation of ferrous mains to be rehabilitated is ~4.6km.

Project 2 - Mt Druitt (Stages 3A & 4A)
This rehabilitation project will address and eliminate leakage issues of the medium pressure steel gas feeder mains sections in Mt Druitt network, laid between 1966 and 1973. The entire rehabilitation program is to be carried out as a 6 year 12 stages projects for the progressive rehabilitation of in total 17.58 km of steel main. The rehabilitation works in stages 5, 3B & 4B are completed, works in stages 1D & 1C is in construction and has been completed in 2016, and works in stages 2A & 2B is currently in progress scheduled for completion by March 2017.

Mt Druitt rehabilitation stages 3A and 4A comprises works in suburbs of Mt Druitt, Whalan and Mt Druitt Village, along Carlisle Ave, Belmore Ave, Cheviot St, Byron St and Mt Druitt Rd within the Municipality of Blacktown City Council area. The following maps, refers to the SOW for 3A & 4A.
