Tender Description
The Welding Workshop within Building Purple 11 has training facilities to accommodate 43 welding training bays.
The area also has facilities for 14 dedicated grinding bays.
The current fume extraction systems that service these areas are to be replaced with modern equipment that will provide a more effective solution in the removal of gases and grinding debris.
All new equipment and installations are to meet the relevant Australian and Northern Territory Standards.
The pricing will be formulated on a Design and Construct project principle.
Pricing will be separated into two parts.
* Item 1 - The Fume extraction for the Welding bays
* Item 2 - The Fume and Debris extraction for the Grinding Bays.
Separate pricing is sought for Items 1 and 2. The University at its' entire discretion will reserve the right to proceed with both items 1 and 2, or item 1 only.
