Banksia Lodge is a former 31 bed residential aged care facility that has been used as multi-purpose space for the Foster Health Precinct since the construction of a new aged care facility next door in 2014. The building constructed by local builders. Considine and Johnston in 1983, is a sold brick building comprised of: three administration areas, reception desk, one single office space, a commercial kitchen, laundry, functional nurse call system, fully maintained landscaped gardens with two internal courtyards, two lounged large multi-purpose space that can be sectioned off by an interoperable wall and a fully maintained fire prevention system with fire panel and celling sprinklers.
