Tender Description
The Principals drinking water catchments cover an area of almost 2000km2. The various land uses within catchments influence the quality of water that runs from them. A number of major catchment initiatives have been identified. Included in these is the Tillegra Riparian Improvement Project (TRIP).
TRIP aims to stabilise and protect riverbanks on former Principal freehold land at Tillegra. This will be achieved through a combination of weed removal, planting of native vegetation and fencing to control livestock access to riverbanks.
Work under this contract includes supply and installation of fencing and associated works.
The following works will be undertaken by others:
* Weed management
* Vegetation planting and ongoing maintenance
