SoilFlux is a model used by the Department to assess the impact of land use change on water availability. The depth to the water table is an important input to SoilFlux. Currently the SoilFlux tools use water table depths from the spatial dataset of the 2001 Groundwater Pollution Risk Map project. More recent groundwater information is now available and needs to be incorporated into the SoilFlux tools.
