Tender Description
The Archives maintains the records created by the Australian Government agencies that form the archival resources of the nation. Under the Archives Act 1983, the Archives’ responsibilities include preserving the national archival collection and also making records in the national archival collection that have entered the open access period publicly available.
The Archives is seeking responses from organisations with a proven track record in providing systems for generating digital preservation copies of audiovisual videotape content. The purpose of this Request for Information is to invite individuals and/or organisations to provide suggestions on possible goods and/or services that will assist the Archives to achieve its future goals.
The National Archives of Australia will not proceed directly to procure goods or services on the basis of this RFI.
