Construction of Grenville Oval Retaining Wall

⁠⁠⁠As part of the development of the new Grenville Oval access road and car parking at Banyul Warri Fields Torquay, Council is seeking an experienced contractor for the construction of a 175 m retaining wall along the eastern boundary of the site, adjacent to Yallock Crt.

The retaining wall ranges from 600 mm to 2.2 m in height and is to provide structural support for the construction of the adjacent road and car parking being undertaken separately as part of this stage (Stage 4) of the oval works. There is also a 40 m section of retaining wall required around the existing water tank within the site.

Council requires the construction of the retaining walls to commence by 1 November 2016 and to be completed by no later than 31 December 2016.

Tenders must be completely uploaded into the electronic tender box by the closing time. Tenderers will receive a Successful Submission Receipt timed and dated upon completion.

Tenders not complying with the requirements - for example, tenders submitted by facsimile or email, will not be accepted.

It is the Tenderer's responsibility to ensure that correct lodgement occurs. Submissions not conforming to these conditions may not be accepted, in the absolute discretion of Council.
