Tender Description
Tenders are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Tenderers to deliver the design and construction of Romiaka Channel Bridge
Replacement and demolition of the the existing bridge.
The work under the Contract generally includes the following:
* Design and construction of the replacement bridge incorporating a shared pedestrian and cycle path along the southern side of the bridge;
* Design and construction of the road approaches to the new bridge, including widening of the road embankment and pavement, modification of adjoining property access and all road side furniture;
* Design and construction of the shared pedestrian and cycle path along the southern side of the road; and
* Demolition of the existing bridge and restoration of the embankment outside the new road corridor and shared path.
Due to timing contraints associated with funding, it is unlikely that the tender closing date will be extended.
