Tender Description
The Kalkallo Creek Main Sewer (KCMS) is part of the Kalkallo Sewer Servicing Strategy for the Northern Growth Corridor. The Main Sewer is the outlet for all developments within the Urban Growth boundary west of the Hume Freeway and north of Donnybrook Road. The catchment itself is located west of the Melbourne / Sydney Rail, between Donnybrook Rd and Wallan.
The KCMS will connect into the new Amaroo Main Sewer (via a branch spur to be provided aspart of the Amaroo Main Sewer Project) at KAL1.
KCMS Stage 1 comprises approximately 662m of DN1250 and 2,774m of DN1050, at depthsvarying between 4m and 15m. Nine manholes have been identified at this stage, ranging from 1.8m to 6m in diameter.
From connection at KAL01, the sewer will follow the future road alignment through the Kallo and Cloverton developments, heading north to Camerons Lane and then west in the Camerons Lane road reserve. This stage of the sewer will terminate after crossing the Hume Freeway
