Charter Aerial Surveillance Services in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area

⁠⁠⁠Provide an aerial surveillance platform and crew which meet the essential requirements listed above in Item 1 of Clause A.A.3 for surveillance missions in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area;

Provide assistance in the gathering of intelligence and evidence (including photographs and videos) of incidents, natural disasters and wildlife in the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area;

Provide technical assistance to the Customer’s staff and to staff of any other Commonwealth or Queensland agency or department nominated by the Customer in the planning and execution of aerial surveillance operations;

Provide technical details of any aerial surveillance platform that the Potential Supplier will use to perform the Services;

Provide safety records of any aerial surveillance platform that the Potential Supplier will use to perform the Services;

Provide contact details for the aircraft pilot and any other personnel that will be involved in performing the Services;

Provide briefings to the Customer and to any other Queensland or Commonwealth Government agency or department nominated by the Customer regarding safety and emergency procedures prior to take off for any mission;

Advise the Customer and any other Queensland or Commonwealth Government agency or department nominated by the Customer of any safety or weather hazards prior to, during and after any mission;

Adhere to all safety and legislative requirements regarding the upkeep, maintenance and safety of any aerial surveillance platform submitted by the Potential Supplier to the Customer for consideration;

Provide assistance with the production and editing of guidelines, procedures and policy documents specific to the aerial surveillance platform;

Ensure that the Potential Supplier’s personnel (e.g. pilots who are involved in the detection of an alleged offence) provide statements and ancillary documents, and be available for subsequent court proceedings if requested by the Customer;
