Seeking an Independent Member for the Audit Committee

⁠⁠⁠The City of Greater Bendigo is seeking nominations from interested and appropriately qualified community members to fill a vacancy on the Audit Committee for a three year term. The purpose of the Audit Committee is to assist the City through an Independent review of systems including internal controls, compliance with legislative requirements and Council's policies and procedures, information integrity and organisational effectiveness. To fulfil this role, you will have the following attributes:
* Be independent from the City of Greater Bendigo.
* Possess strong financial skills and understanding.
* Have an understanding of risk management and internal and external audit processes.
* Be available to attend four meetings annually.
