The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR or the “Principal”) invites suitably prequalified contractors (the “applicant”) registered at R4 B3 F100 and above, to submit an Expression of Interest application for the construction of the Warrego Highway Upgrade Program - Toowoomba to Oakey - Stage 2: Charlton (Leeson’s Road) to Kingsthorpe.
A minor work component prequalification level of A3 is required for the asphalt works. The tender is to nominate a suitably prequalified subcontractor to undertake such work.
A successful Applicant must be accredited and maintain accreditation for the duration of the project under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme. In addition, joint ventures or partnerships may apply for this Expression of Interest (EOI) after submitting a Joint Venture Application for prequalification of the joint venture, if the joint venture is not already prequalified.
A mandatory pre-lodgement conference will take place at 10:30am on Friday 19 August 2016 at the Department of Transport and Main Roads Office, 1-5 Phillip Street Toowoomba.
To obtain documents, eligible prequalified contractors must email: tender_contracts@tmr.qld.gov.au to apply for access. Once approved, documentation will be made available at the BAS website: https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/bas/etender/.
Submissions are to consist of one original hardcopy submission and one electronic submission, sealed and addressed: “EOI FOR DDWD-69”. Electronic copies must be submitted in PDF format. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in a non-conforming Application. Applications submitted in response to the Expression of Interest are to be lodged in the Tender Box, Department of Transport and Main Roads,1-5 Phillip Street, Toowoomba 4350 prior to 2:00pm on Friday 02 September 2016.
