Northern Territory PHN (NT PHN) is funded by the Australian Government to develop and coordinate an equitable, comprehensive primary health care system and an engaged health workforce driven by community needs. NT PHN is a partnership between Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT), the Northern Territory Government Department of Health (NTG DoH) and the Associate Membership Committee. NT PHN works closely with health consumers, community organisations and service providers in commissioning health services that are integrated across the health system.
NT PHN invites interested organisations and community groups to undertake small preventive health projects. The Preventive Health Grants program is offering small grants up to $15,000 (GST exclusive) for local projects or activities which will build capacity and improve health outcomes in rural and remote communities.
