The Department of Education and Training (Department or DET) delivers education services to over two million Victorians annually with diverse learning and development needs across the early childhood, school education and higher education and skills sectors. The Department’s 10 year goal is to make Victoria a world leader in learning and development, to contribute to a vibrant economy and society and to deliver on our outcomes.
The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) has been created by the Victorian Government to manage a $2.4 billion suite of building projects. The Authority remains within the Department of Education and Training and is focused on high quality and timely project delivery, with over 1,000 building projects across the State, as well as innovative reform in infrastructure design and delivery, and increased engagement with school communities.
The Department has established a State-wide Minor Works contract framework for the provision of works and services to support its operational programs and, due to an increase in project volumes, is now seeking additional Contractors to provide minor works to schools.
